Cold Open

Brian and Justin have a pile of cocaine (from a Weird Things episode).

Brushwood Family Reunion

Brian is out in Georgia, Ohio for the biannual family reunion. He talked about how he was tasked with going into the IT closet of the house (also his temporary podcast studio) to fix their Sonos/wifi. Then of course since he's around his extended family, they all say that they'll check out Night Attack, but Brian really doesn't want them to because he is too embarrassed to have his family listen to him talk about buttholes.

Leave Early to Beat the Riots

When Brian was getting ready to leave France last week there was a polite notice placed in his hotel room telling him to leave a bit early for the airport because there is going to be a big ol' riot because they are REALLY not fans of Uber. Brian was talking about the situation with a licensed French car service driver and tried to be extremely polite to the dude, instead of going off on one of his Texas-inspired freedom rants.

Also he and Bonnie sat next to Gavin Free of RoosterTeeth, who was sitting next to the 9th Doctor, Christopher Eccleston.

The Patreon is at $2,181. If you want to become a patron, head on over to Patreon.com/NightAttack.

Guys! BIG NEWS! The Merritt Tapes, THEY'RE COMING OUT! Bryce will have an early cut of the EP out "this wednesday" (aka the day after recording) to $5+ Patrons. Then the final version will go out to all Patrons on July 7th.

Do Podcasters Really Record Their Shows Drunk?

Brian was talking to one of his cousins and she wanted to know if some podcasters were serious when they said that they drink before/during the show. It just so happened that Justin was calling Brian at that exact moment and Justin was put on speaker phone to explain the drinking rituals of podcasters. On the show, Brian and Justin started yelling about why they drink.

Sup guys, Apple Music launched today and along with it came Beats 1, an online radio station. It's great, they have DJs curating and playing music for everyone to listen to. Even better, now we can all make jokes about how Apple "invented" radio. Anyway, since radio is back, Brian and Justin made their Kook and the Racist Badger audition tape for the Beats 1 morning show.

Here's the "Worldwide. Exclusive" bumper taken from the Daily Tech News Show episode earlier in the day.
